Star Wars – Episode I: The Phantom Menace is a 1999 mythic science fiction/fantasy film directed by George Lucas. It stars, among others, Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman and Jake Lloyd.  The Phantom Menace is the opening chapters of the story of young Anakin Skywalker, and his first steps on a journey that will lead to tragedy and redemption.
